I have never had filters. I own a Sony NEX-F3 and I don't like doing long exposures. I just want really bright, clear photos. This will be going on my 18-55mm kit lens because I've bought other lenses and have hated the outcome. For the things I shoot, my 18-55 is great and I love the sharpness of the photo.

Anyway....so what filter is the absolute best for just general shooting around Disney?

Thanks!

Digital cameras really don't need filters.

Although the subject of some debate (about whether it degrades image quality) some use a clear u/v filter to protect the glass of their lens.

Most keep a circular polarizer in their bag to reduce glare.

Many keep a neutral density filter for times when you need a longer shutter speed.

But I think that's about it.

I suggest no filters for the best photos, but a circular polarizer is always great to throw into your bag to reduce glare, and make colours pop.
