Length of stopover in LGA

What's a good length of time for a stopover in LGA? Looking at flying Delta and will preclear customs in Halifax but I still don't want to have to worry about running full tilt for a gate as I know it's a huge airport.

Any advice?

I haven't been to LGA in a long time. But as a general rule I would almost never book a flight that had less than a one hour layover. Mainly if the first flight is late, you're screwed.

Have you looked at a map of the terminal? That should give you a general ideal of what you may have to deal with.

I agree with rwdavis, LGA really isn't that big, but all 3 NY airports are notorious for delays.
