Our next trip to WDW is less than 2 weeks away. I have a questions about purchasing the length of stay stoller rental. Can I purchase this at any of the WDW stroller rental facilities? Thanks in advance for the info!

We purchased one at MGM/DS last year and it was good at all the parks. We were even able to use it at two parks on days we hopped! I loved having a length of stay stroller and will do it again this year.

hey, we will be there at AS Movies the same week, and yes, rent a length of stay stroller at any stroller rental, just ask before u pay, its great, we always do it! :goodvibes will u have any green on? :bounce:

We looked at the length of stay (los) stroller rental program that WDW offers, and then at A Baby's Best Friend, an Orlando rental and delivery service that get great reviews here. :cheer2:

We chose ABBF (www.abbf.com). THey have a wonderful website with photos of the actual stroller you get, and they deliver and pick up right to and from the hotel luggage room. It was great for us. We had this nice, clean, comfortable stroller the whole vacation, which was good for us, especially as we went to Universal (*gasp*) two days. :rotfl: Then around the Boardwalk and for other shopping, etc., it was great. :thumbsup2

Wonderful service and reasonably priced also.

Have a great time!

Isn't one of the bennies of renting WDW strollers that you can interchange them (like at the train ride at MK) and that you don't have to lug a stroller to/from the park (esp if riding the resort bus)?

On the other hand, it might be handy for that long trek to the room...

Which option is best?? We are leaning toward WDW strollers just to have less to lug.

FYI you can get a refund for any days you do not use.

Man, I can't believe I've never heard of los rentals! Anyone know where I can read everything about them? We drive and take ours but sometimes wish that we didn't have to deal with them.
Anyone know how much they are? Where you can get them? etc.

Did they stop doing this? We had a day left over and they told us refunds were not given. So, we shared some pixie dust and gave our unused ticket to another family.

Another two-thumbs-way-way-up for ABBF and their clean and comfortable strollers. We use them all the time and can't tell you how many times we were glad we had it with us outside the parks. Really nice service. :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

We use the stroller rentals at WDW for two main reasons. The first is obviously so that we don't have to lug our own. We manage with the kids through the airport and parking lots. The other big reason we rent from WDW is because we find that better for older kids. My nephew is 6 and we still put him in the stroller. Those little legs get tired walking around all day and trying to keep up. It is a lot more comfortable for him to be in the park rentals and he doesn't feel like a baby in a carriage. Also, it is much easier for the adults in that he can just step out of the WDW ones instead of one of the adults having to lift him out.

Are the individual stroller tickets dated as to the exact day when each can be used? I ask because we will need a stroller for a total of 4 days for the 4 parks, but we have a rest day in the middle-- park, park, rest, park, park. If they just date all the tickets as "expire in 7 days" or somesuch we will be okay, so I hope that's similar to the way they do it...?

EDIT: found the answer by searching for "stroller length stay" :)

IF the answer I found was correct, they now give one a number of tickets equal to the number of days of rental purchased, and the tickets are good for any time.

I could have sworn I read here on the DIS that they stopped the LOS rentals? I know that they don't do LOS rentals during especially busy times (we were unable to get it last year July 2-8. I asked everyday for the first few days at each park but no luck!).

If they've stopped doing it then they didn't take it off of their website:

I have heard before that they don't do it during busy times though, which kind of makes sense...
:cool1: Thanks for the link! I am glad they still offer it :) I am still kind of in shock at how much they raised the price though - July 2005 we paid $14 a day for the double stroller - and that is NOT the LOS price, that is the daily rate. Now the daily rate for a double is $18 and LOS rate is $16! Nuts!

We go very often and must rent a park stroller for my DS6 who is autistic, and does not fit in a typical stroller. Just to let you know we buy 4 or five days at a time wheter we will use it or not. Left over days do not expire, we bought days in June and used them last month! :thumbsup2
