If you book only a one night stay at a resort can you still buy a 9 day ticket and 9 days of ddp?

Yes and no. You can get a 9 day park ticket even if you are only staying on-site one night - you can get a 9 day park ticket even if you're staying off-site. But you can NOT get 9 days worth of the dining plan. To receive the Disney Dining Plan you have to purchase a Magic Your Way package that includes room, tickets and dining. The number of dining credits you will receive will correspond to the number nights you are staying. ie: For a 3 night package you would receive 3 Table Service credits per person, 3 Counter Service credits per person and 3 snacks per person per night.
