Legoland Thanksgiving Weekend

We will be arriving Thanksgiving Day and checking in to Hyatt Huntington Beach for 3 nights. We would like to go to Legoland Friday, Saturday or Sunday before checking in to Disneyland Hotel.

Any recommendations for least crowded day? Any previous experiences at Legoland on this holiday weekend?

Any Legoland tips would be appreciated. We will be taking our 7 year old son and this will be our first time at Legoland.
