Thanks! That's a real shame as we'll be in WDW in April so will miss it! Not heard much about it, does anyone know what rides/attractions are planned and what sort of progress they're making?
My son is 10 and don't know if it will all be too young for him by the time we next come to Orlando!

I don't know all that much as far as what new rides and attractions they'll add but I know they're getting rid of the larger wooden coaster(Starliner) and keeping the smaller wood coaster(Triple Hurricane)which from what I heard will be Dinosaur themed.I also heard they're keeping the water ski show,re-theming many of the shops and restaurants, probably adding a wild mouse LegoTechnic rollercoaster as well as a 4-D movie as well as the mini land area.I know this park will be much more popular than Cypress Gardens has been but I still think Universal,Busch Gardens and Sea World should do work some combo tickets to include Legoland.
I live in the next town. (We are such Disney fans we moved from NJ to be closer) Anyway, the Cypress Gardens sign came down a week ago. There is a lot of work going on at the park. I understand they will be having a water skiing show, as CG once had. It will be opening next spring. There are updates for the park ongoing if you search Legoland Winter Haven Florida updates. We're excited but sorry we missed visiting Cypress Gardens.
we just missed cypress gardens when it was open on one of our last trips will be interesting as our place is in frostproof and is only about a half hour drive instead of the hour drive to any park hopefully they have some decent things there.
