We are heading to Legoland in a couple of weeks. We have one day in the park and one night at the Legoland hotel. Weĺl be coming from Orlando, and heading to Busch Gardens the following day. Iḿ wondering if there is any advantage to checking in to the hotel before entering the park that day or if we should just head right to the park. Would you eliminate parking fees by checking in to the hotel first? Other advantages?

I would think checking in would be the way to go. That way you could park in the hotel lot, rather than the general lot. The hotel is basically right at the park entrance, so the hotel parking is very convenient.

You can also get into the park 30 minutes early as a registered hotel guest.

It would really depend on what time you are arriving at the hotel/park.

Thanks! I didn't realize hotel guests got 30 minute early entry.....think checking in early is the way to go. I'm assuming our room won't be ready that early, will they hold our luggage while we're in the park?

Most likely you won't be there by the time the park opens, depending on traffic. I would at least bring in any luggage with any toiletries/medications, as I would not want to leave that stuff in the stifling car. I would imagine they have a concierge where they would hold it for you. If you get there at let's say at 10am, your room might not be ready anyway. When you enter the parking lot, just tell them you are staying at the hotel. I am sure they will let you park in the hotel parking lot.
