I went the Friday after Thanksgiving, and it was very crowded, but still fabulous! It's amazing what they can create with Legos!!

The children in our group were almost 7, 8 1/2, and just turned 11, and they all had a great time. We went on 2 of the 4 roller coasters (the dragon and the wooden one) and they were tame enough for the whole group to on, but still fun.

DS (the 11-year-old) said Mini-land was his favorite thing of all, though! Definitely allow some time to wonder around there.

We  Legoland! I have 2 girls (almost 3 and 7) and we honestly don't own one Lego, but with the kids get in free offer, we decided to spend a day at Legoland during our trip to SeaWorld in October.

We enjoyed it so much we plan on going back in January for my DD's birthday. My youngest has no fear and rode everything she was tall enough to ride, including the wooden coaster. DD 7 rode just about everything.
It's geared towards kids 2-12, so don't expect a ton of thrill rides, but they do have a few pretty cool coasters and all the rides are fun and nicely themed. The old Cypress Gardens are beautiful and a nice break from the "theme park" pace and they have a cute waterskiing pirate show that's worth catching.

The park hours are somewhat limited (at this point at least) and with a lot of "slow loading" rides, I could see how it might be hard to get to everything in one day. They do offer a 2nd day for something like $15, and I could definitely think you could make 2 days out of it, but one would be fine, too.
