For those undecided I will give a short review when we return after the 28th.
Since it will be summer months for the original post.... we went to SW and DC in June two years ago. While I will never go in June again because of the heat, we did enjoy both parks. I would suggest having a good hotel with a great pool.
Blizzard Beach is an easy car ride and that is the most "small kid" friendly of the water parks.
DC is an incredibly relaxing day with a ton of shade if you can swing it. I would suggest NOT swimming with the dolphins as it creates havoc trying to deal with small children when some get to do it and some do not. And it takes too much time for what you get.
SW is awesome and has many shows that will be great for smaller ones.
