legoland aquarium?

We were there last Monday, opening day.
We waited just over an hour for the opening cerimonies (I know it's spelled differently) then all the vip's had to go first. All together it was almost 2 hours before we got in.
My son 11, loved it. It's very well done, laid out, kid friendly.
While nice to see I don't know if it's worth the $18.95/adult, $11.95/kid to get in. Unless you have a hopper it's only one time thru, once you're out that's it. And I forgot to use my $3 off coupons.
Legoland was very busy that day as well.

My family and I visited the Sea Life Aquarium soon after it opened. It's pretty small which makes it very little kid friendly. I liked the little peep holes that allowed my little ones to get a closer look at the fish tanks. They had two fun touch tanks, but unfortunately they were difficult for my three and four year olds to access due to their height. I'm really hoping they install some stools or platforms.

Is it worth a visit? I would say that this depends on what other aquariums you have visited recently and the age of your kids. It might be worth the price of a parkhopper pass especially as winter is coming and it might be a great thing to do on a cloudy day for two to three hours. Be aware that the bathrooms are very hard to access once you enter the aquarium.

We had the special 3 month legoland membership from Costco (51/adult 45/kid). We were able to go to the aquarium for only $5/each with this type of ticket. Definately worth $5, but I'm not sure it's worth the full freight admission price.
