We are going to Legoland for the first time on Fourth of July. We will be staying in Orlando and driving to Winter Haven that day. It is DH, DS3, and me.
Looking for advice in when to arrive at Legoland for the day. I know conventional wisdom says to arrive before rope drop. But we will be staying for the fireworks (that's the purpose of going in Fourth of July) at 9:00. We can't take a hotel break because the hotel will be 45 mins away. We plan to go another day during our trip to visit the water park. We can make up some missed rides then.
So my questions:
How imperative is it to arrive early? Do we risk the park being closed to capacity?
If we did arrive early, will we be able to find a shady bench to rest? These places abound in WDW, but I've heard that they are lacking in LL.
Thanks!
