Have any of you done the Lego Brickmaster club?
We really enjoyed it this year. It was $39.95 and every other month you get a Lego magazine which included little comic strips in Star Wars or Indiana Jones type themes, photos of Lego Creations other kids have made, and directions for building new things based on sets you may already have at ahome
It also includes a set of Legos every other month. The sets are probably worth $15 (if paying regular price in the stores). They are for sure bigger than the small $10 sets, but not quite as big as the $20+ sets. We saved my son's this year and he is getting them all at Christmas.

You don't get to pick your sets but this year he got:
Star Wars x2
Lego City
Bionicles

the sets are not sold elsewhere. I know in January the next set is Atlantis.

Just throwing that out there-we found it to be a good deal and my son really liked getting the magazines in the mail.

(oh it also includes a free ticket to Legoland in CA which we did use last year)

Just wondering if anyone had an update on their lego searches?

I decided not to venture out to KMart, though I was very tempted. Instead i went to my nearest lego store and took my chances with the 'scratch' off. I only got the 10% but it's a better deal then i normally get on legos. it saved me a few bucks and sales tax.

i joined the vip club as i know she will be getting more sets as the days go on. And every little bit helps right? I also spend over $75 and was able to get the free fill a brick box that DD will fill after christmas.

I found that Borders had Spend $20 in Toys and get $10 off. So I got 1 set that was 10.99 (Star Wars) and another that was 9.99 (city set) for around $12.00 with tax!!!!!!!!

Borders doesn't have a HUGE selection, but they have a decent amount. They also have accepted their 30 and 40% off coupons on them in the past!

It retails for $59.99 and Walmart (and online!) has it for $30.00 and of course it states "while supplies last". I found this in the Walmart circular from the paper this morning so this is a great deal and I ordered one for DS to put away.

Just happened to find the new Lego Bionicle "Stars" series at Toys R Us this morning! My son will be so excited Christmas day! He has no idea they exist, so it should be quite a surprise. I paid $8 each and ebay has them for at least $17 each.

Thanks so much for the heads up about the Wal-mart $30 deal on the lego rescue boat set. This is THE set my ds has been drooling over. I probably would have missed it in the pile of circulars that came with this Sunday's paper. When I went into the store, there was no signage about the deal at all. In fact, I found the set on a shelf where power miners were supposed to be.

After this deal, a free photobook and picture cards, my husband now "gets" why I visit the dis boards!

I looked at Amazon's Cyber Monday deals and there are 3 Lego sets that will be coming up on sale. Not sure which sets, they give a few clues -- I think one is Indiana Jones and another Star Wars.
