Lego store

Hi guys, Have not seen any information about the remodel on the Lego store in DTD lately. Does anyone know if it has reopened yet?

Late Spring is the offical opening.

It is currently open in a temporary location the old Island Resorts store.

While the opening date is vague it sounds like it must be reopening its normal location by the 1st of 2nd of June because of other DTD happenings.

Funny you should ask....

DH and I were there today. There is a HUGE "something" covered in front. We are predicting it is Maleficent fighting Mickey made out of Legos. Pure guess. But wouldn't that be cool!?!?

The signs on the store say, "Spring 2012." DH says to me, "Open and let me in. It's Spring 2012." He has a way of making me laugh, what can I say?

We asked at the temporary store about the opening. The guy said that they don't have an official date yet, but to look for near Memorial Day weekend.

And I suppose technically that is still Spring, 2012 and would be a gerat weekend for a grand opening.

He also said that the giant giraffe is gone , but that there are going to be lots of cool things, special to Disney. Can't wait to see it when it reopens.

FYI: There's quite a bit of merchandise in the temporary store if anyone wants to do some Lego shopping.
