Hey Folks,

Borders is selling the Lego Advent Calendars for $29.99 and there is a 30% off coupon for Border members. My total was $22. I know it is not inexpensive but I know my son will love opening up these little flaps counting down to Xmas so it is worth the splurge. There is a pirate version that is only sold in the UK.

I checked on the Borders website and it was not there. Is this something only available in stores? I did a search and it came up with them available other places, such as Amazon, but there were several different ones - some on sale for $89!

Not sure if they are online, they do go for $$$ on ebay after they sell out. I got mine at the store. I did have to ask however as they had them in the back. Perhaps some stores arent putting them out yet?

Reallygreattoys.com has the several of the advent calendars available. They had one that had police, pirates, knights and Christmas in the forest. This is our first year collecting Playmobil toys, so I was excited to find these. The pirate one is $18.95. I'm glad to hear that is a good price...and thanks for the heads up to purchase early. Shipping is $5 or free for over $40.

I failed to mention that the border coupon expires tomorrow. I wish I could get the pirate one but the ones on ebay are outrageous in price. I hear these sell out quick and then end up on ebay for a whole lot more.

Hi any toysr us will have them WHSmiths book store i dont know if theres a Lego store in Oxford they have them my mum is visiting from UK in Dec thats where she picked up one for my son in London though lots of places in London if your son visits Hamleys on O xford street

I'm glad that someone posted the 30% off coupon. I had a late morning and just got online. I would love to have a pirate version but I don't know anyone in the UK :-( or anyone who is going so bummer for me.

BTW, I had to call and ask for the info person at Borders to look for it for me because most of them did not even know what I was talking about so try that route if your borders does not have them. They should be able to order them for you too.

Yes, but the membership is free and all you have to do is sign up for it at the counter and they'll let you use the coupon.
