Does anyone know if these typically go on sale Black Friday? I need to buy 3 this year and trying to decide if I should wait or not.
I just got mine at Barnes and Noble when they had a BOGO 50% off for educational toys...they include all Legos in that so they may have another sale in a few weeks.
By Black Friday, sometimes they are sold out. One year, I looked in Oct and they were already sold out at Lego. I haven't seen deals on them for BF. Sometimes Target will have a $5 off coupon. They may be included in the buy one get one 50% off that they have at ToysRUs on Lego every year.
Last year the lowest I saw them was $25 and that was all over. I saw it first on Lego's website though. They didn't run out, they were for sale all over up through and past Christmas for that price. Never know what each year will hold, but that was what happened last year. We'll be in Disney most of Dec. so I'm skipping that this year. I'll try to get it cheaper after the holidays for next year, but I'm guessing I'll be paying $25 each still.
I will be buying for my 29 year old fiancé hahaha and I have to yell at him to only open one a day. And yet he won't do elf on the shelf for me lmao.Last year at the mall on black Friday I got them for 50% at the Lego store. I will be getting them there again. Though I swore I wouldn't do it again the amount of plastic litter on the floor made me unhappy, maybe this year the boys will be better.
Target has the Lego City one on sale for $27.99 and in the BF Ads the Target Toy Book has been released or uploaded and the $5.00 of $19 Lego coupon is in there. I tried putting in the code (appears to be TGCDNTUZ) but it doesn't appear to be active yet. The book codes and coupons might go active on 10/30 based on what I found googling. If this is the case and the sale price holds at 27.99 then it would be $22.99, then with 5% off using Target red card and free shipping, comes to $21.84 before tax. Not bad!
Not sure if/when the code will go live but it might be worth watching if you're interested.

On line the City one is $29.99. Not sure about in store, though. I didn't see it in our ad for this week and was just there and didn't notice a sale tag.

Hmm..I just saw another ad for the Target Toy book and the $5 Lego coupon is off $29.00 there (not $19.00 like I saw/posted earlier). If that's the case, then it would be best to wait for it not to be on sale.Heather
I just checked again and it's still $27.99 online. It's a little misleading - it shows the price cut to $27.99, then the regular $29.99 however once you add it to your cart it has the $27.99. Not sure if this link will show it:
