Lego Advent Calendar Help

I left this with my DIL for the boys. Will she know what to give them when she opens the box? Is it clear?

The little cutouts are perferated and numbered 1 through 24 (kinda hard to find the number sometimes due to the picture but it is there). If you tell her to let the kids start opening them on Dec. 1st and open one per day, it's pretty self-explanatory after that.

I have two kids and let my kids take turns opening/getting the item for each day.
