Hi There,

Just checking I am staying offsite at the Best Western Lake Buena Vista (unexpected last minute trip .. i was only at POR in September) as all the places I wanted to stay and could afford to stay at onsite are booked out for marathon weekend (totally didn't even think that would be on being in Australia and all) ...

So anyway I want to check that the email I received from Orlandovacation was legit .. I did book directly on the best western website and it was a https url so I am just checking I'm paranoid as I'm staying by myself

Call the hotel directly to confirm your reservation. If the number is an expensive call from a regular phone then download a program like Skype that let's you make free calls to the USA. The number for the hotel is 407-828-2424

Because I'm in Australia it's really hard to call a at reasonable time,

It's on Hotel Plaza Blvd, which is not far from DTD. You should be fine.
This resort is also a Disney Good Neighbor Hotel (GNH). (Which can be booked through Disney.) GNH have standards they have to meet in order to keep that status.
Staying there will not be the same as staying on site. But a close second.

You don't need to call at a "reasonable time" Hotel have front desk staff 24/7.
