Leger Wonka Pre-Trip....Little Surprises Around Every Corner (7/6 New Purchases)

So, Chris and I had been discussing the possibility of changing resorts to save some money since the more I think about it the more I can't justify paying more for a "crash pad" when Pop is nice enough :thumbsup2

Our origional reservation was for sept 13th through sept 18th. We were gonna add two days to the end of our trip which would elongate our stay until the 20th. Which would mean we would have to go from POFQ to Pop. We didn't really want to have to do that either.

So Chris called tonight and figured out that our origional sept 13th - 18th reservation was $100 more than the new reservation at Pop for the 13th - 20th. So we moved our reservation over to Pop for the whole week! :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

Now I need help trying to decid where to eat the last two days!!!! Help!! I have to make my ADR's on Marh 17th!!!!!!

Oh nice...so now you save 100 dollars and get 2 more days sweet!!!!!

Love talking food..

Have to go and find your ADRS:thumbsup2

Okay, so I found your ADR list...

How about Ohanas for dinner one night and Grand Floridian Cafe the other night.?

You can try and get the Ohanas ressie near the time of Wishes.

They pipe the music in from wishes into restaurant.. My friends love it there!!!

Grand Floridian looks nice,too.

You will be able to explore the resort a bit since you had mentioned you wanted to do that and the food looks good there as well

Hi betsy!! Thanks for stopping by. I leave on Wednesday evening and don't come back until the following Tuesday (march 18th). But I plan on bringing my laptop down with me so I will check in from time to time. I've got my quilt done! :woohoo: I will post pictues here in a little bit once my camera batery charges up.

Oh! And there are some new developments on our September vacation that I need to update so I will do that once I have a moment where I'm not doing something else.

That's cool...wish I were going away for a few days! Hopefully we can chat a time or two while you are away :) Congrats on the quilt :woohoo: Can't wait to see the pics! I already know it will be awesome ;)

That's awesome :yay: :dance3: :woohoo: I love saving money! I saw that Sharky recommended the GF Cafe. We love going there! The prices are not outrageous and it's fun to wander around the GF. I also second the vote for Ohana. I just :lovestruc that place!

I'm not going to be much help in the restaurant department because we haven't gone to much except breakfast. But just wanted to say Yay ! for two extra days.  :cheer2: :cheer2:

If I don't talk to you again, Have a great trip~!

Those suggestions both sound great! Thanks for the help Sharky. I just gotta look at the menus to make sure that there is something there that Chris will eat.

I will do my best to get online to chat from time to time while I'm in Orlando. Thanks for the congrats on finishing my quilt. I took pictures last night of it but then my camera battery died so I had to re-charge. I'll try to get the pictures up tonight during all the packing madness! I'm looking forward to this trip but I'm SO not ready for it!!

oh me too. I think it's awesome that it's cheaper and for more days. :thumbsup2 I think the GF Cafe is probably a must. I'm dying to see the inside of that resort.

aww it's okay OB! I'm excited for the two extra days finally being added on too! :) I can't wait to go!

Thanks

The Grand Floridian is beautiful. :goodvibes

I just know after seeing the inside I will want to stay there at some point but I think even if I had a crap load of money I couldn't justify paying that much for a "crash pad" Chris has really rubbed off on me with his ways on money. Ugh!

I know what you mean. Even for a Disney trip I'm so excited to go but getting ready is horrible!!! I always try to have things done but end up running around like a lunatic at the last minute!

The GF Cafe has a nice variety. We had lunch there on the last trip and the burgers and ruebens were very good. We had dinner the trip before and I had pasta and DH had prime rib and both again were really good. They have nice basic things so hopefully Chris will find something he likes!

My SIL and MIL were going this past September to the GF and called and asked me to fly down with DD. I at first said no because we were going in October with DH and DFIL. Well, they offered to pay for everything! How could I say no!!! So, DD and I flew down for 3 nights and stayed at the GF. It was soooooo pretty! BUT...I myself would have a hard time paying that kind of money. The rooms were not much bigger than some of the moderate's to me. Now I will say the ambiance and surroundings are so beautiful there that it just sucks you in

At this point I haven't even packed one thing! I'm really gonna be rushing around tonight trying to finish laundry and pack. Ugh! I don't know why I've been putting off everything. At least that darn quilt is done.

Wow, you're really making me hungry. Stop that! From the way you describe it I'm sure Chris will find something to eat. He loves Prime Rib :thumbsup2

and omg! You have one awesome SIL and MIL!!! That's so cool that you got a free ride to Disney and got to stay at the GF to boot! I can't even bring myself to pay for a moderate let alone a Deluxe :rotfl:

Now, I need a little more help here....I'm considering trying out one of the water parks since we have the "water, fun and more" ticket package this year. Which day do ya'll think I should fit one in and which water park do you recomend? I'm considering fitting a water park in on Sept 18th and taking a little time away from the World Showcase at EPCOT. What do ya'll think? And when you tell me which water park I should go to keep in mind that I normally dislike public pools and water parks so I'm pretty fresh into this stuff. Sharky already recomended to me that we should go to Typhoon Lagoon since it's more laid back than Bilzzard Beach. Not that I don't value her opinion or advice...I just wanna hear what ya'll have to say as well and also, is it worth it enough to take time away from EPCOT?? :confused3 :confused3

ok now I am thinking of changing something to the GF Cafe. This is why I should not read pre tr's, they make me change mine alot. :lmao:
