Legacy FP vs. FP+ in the parks?

Howdy! Just wondering for those who have used FP+ in the parks: how does it compare to Legacy Fastpass as far as lines, wait times, etc?

Do you feel like you've had longer or shorter waits as compared to the legacy fastpass system, and how do the lines/waits compare at the rest of the rides throughout the day?

People's perception of time and waiting can be misleading. Especially if they compare over a large time scale, like from year to year. They may have been fine with a 15 minute wait then. But now with a new FP+ system they are paying close attention to that 15 minute wait and it may seem more agonizing.
