Has anyone stayed at Legacy Dunes condos? What did you think of them? I am considering buying a vacation home their they are very inexpensive right now! I stayed at Windsor palms and Legacy Dunes looks very similar. I want honest opinions about the area and condos from someone other than the real estate agents. Thanks

I use to live there, we moved out a few months after they went "condo" and have never looked back. Very thin walls, we could hear a lot of noise from the steps/hallways, our next door neighbors if they played music and the countless cars blasting music in the parking lot. It was really noisy. Crime problems(car break ins very common), there were holes in the perimeter fence and teens from the surrounding neighborhoods just walked through it and used all the amenities, management didn't seem to care. Dishonest management who flat out lied to us. I could go on and on if you want, but long story short, I wouldn't recommend buying or even renting there to anyone.

Thanks for the information. I have stayed at Windsor Palms and have had good luck, but you never know. I began to get worried when the only review I could find was a negative one that said the community was not very safe and gate was never closed! I guess I will keep looking.

I agree, move on to somewhere else. I lived there too and right after they announced they were going condo we opted out of our lease.
