Legacy discount link

Ok, I went to Earl of Sandwich and they only needed to see the card. Then I went to The Star Wars outpost and bought a few things. The cast member asked me if I had a pass and I showed it to her. She asked if it was showing in the app yet and I said it wasn't there yet. She just asked for my ID and gave me a sheet with info about the legacy passholder discounts and said I should call the number on it to get it set up. I still got the discount but I'm sure they will be enforcing this soon.
Would you be able to share that number?

We will be at DTD and Touch of Disney on Saturday, and I’d definitely like it to be set up by then. Nothing is in my app yet...
 
My pass/discount hasn't yet shown up on my app but my husband's and my son's showed up. :confused3

If you have any questions or have trouble linking your digital discount ticket, please contact Passholder Member Services at (714) 781-4567 or use the chat feature via the Disneyland app.
Call that number and be willing to stay on hold for a while -- I put my phone on speaker and prepped a meal. The CM was super helpful and took care of everything.
 
So it took over 24 hours for a CM to get back to me (more time than was estimated)... And it was while I was driving 🤦‍♀️. They marked my case "resolved" when I couldn't answer after 13 minutes. They offered the form mentioned, but won't send without permission. I was left on "read" for all my messages I sent shortly after I sent them so not sure why they couldn't give a little leeway on getting back to them since over 24 hours to hear back, but then only 13 minutes to respond is a little unbalanced :rotfl: . But maybe once a CM actually messages they can't move to a new chat? :confused3

I've sent a new message indicating that I still need help and that I do give permission for that form to be sent. Hopefully that works. I really don't want to call.

Earl's isn't owned by Disney so they've never scanned passes anyways. I've always just flashed it and the same at Wetzel's. Very much on the honor system. I would be so shocked if they started scanning. But maybe they might ask people to start flashing the discount code instead? Will be curious to hear if they start requiring that code to be shown at the locations not owned and operated by Disney.
 

Will they still honor a discount if you have the pass code in the app and a photo id? I do not have my actual card anymore, I can't find it.
 
During the Touch of Disney event I got my 15% food discount by just showing my physical pass. When I called the number listed above the CM was not able to help me at all. He suggested I speak with a Plaid when I was at ToD. I did, and the gal told me they can't help at all and they don't know why folks are being directed to them. (Not those words, but words to that effect) Anyway, the chat is virtually useless with a 24 hour turnaround. Still no legacy passholder code for either myself or my wife

Did they get back to you? I've started a chat about 3.5 hours ago. Do you get a notification when they finally respond?

They haven't since I contacted again after they closed my case saying it was resolved when it wasn't. I'm at 20 hours since I sent that.

Last time took 25 hours for them to get back to me. I did get an push notification on my phone, though. Took forever to even open it to read it because it kept wanting me to rate the CM since they said my case was resolved 🤦‍♀️
 
I tried chatting with them on the app two days ago and they finally got back to me. I had to fill out a form, but the discount pass is now there!
 
It took 47 hours to get a CM to respond and I did get a push notification.
 
Is anyone else not even seeing their AP in the app? Mine disappeared as soon as they refunded my credit card about a month ago. I sent a message in chat 24 hours ago and and still waiting for a response,

Yeah. Ours hasn’t showed up, and no one has gotten back to me yet, so we’re here with just our physical pass and ID and it’s taking like five minutes to buy anything because they’re making us open the app, scan the pass, and show them that it gives the “already linked” message.

I’m not sure why, as that proves nothing, but that’s what’s happening today.

Ours went away after our APs expired last year. But we do have the Legacy Passholder Discount B barcodes showing now. After not seeing anything in passes for so long, it's nice having something displayed there again.
 
My experience during TOD using my Legacy passport discount: They didn't ask for ID only scanned my barcode on my app..
This was for a shop on Paradise Pier and mobile mobile orders added it automatically.

I scan or enter my ticket and it says invalid, not already linked. Which it was when the parks were open. I started a chat 1.5 days ago... not sure if they work all weekend or not.
 
They responded to my chat at 9 this morning, 47 hours after I first started the chat.
Assuming they are staffing the chat on Sundays it will be almost 48 hrs for me tomorrow morning. I'm just hoping that I get a push notification. I need to check the settings on my phone.

I'm not usually awake at 9am so I really hope they don't try to contact me then and I miss out... again :rotfl:. I've had my phone glued to my hand more than usual, but that doesn't help if I'm asleep :crazy2:
 
So everyone who is a legacy passholder really has to contact Disney to get a code/link even though they said it would be automatic? Come on Disney. I tried to link my passes to my account again (they disappeared a while back) and it says they are linked but nothing shows up and no merchandise code either 🤷‍♀️
