Leftovers

What do you do with your leftovers. DO you leave it, throw it out or offer it to someone? Seems like such a waste. Of course I would not offer anything opened, but what about water bottles, soda, cereal etc?

I put a note on anything that is not opened that says Housekeeping is welcome to it with our thanks.

Like you, we throw out anything that was opened.

I left an unopened carton of orange juice and bottled water on our last trip. I figured the housekeeper could take it if she liked or throw it out. Anything opened I threw out.

I got told once - that everything is thrown out - period - even with your permission if housekeeping takes it they could be fired.

so I try to take the soda cans and other stuff that has not been opened back with me - of course I drive so that makes it easier.
