is going out of this house tomorrow! Sending it to the office with DF!!!! I can not take having it around anymore.....

If I may make a suggestion for the leftover candy?

The local elementary schools are asking the parents to bring it in as they are sending it over to the Troops, no chocolate or anything that can melt.

Just a thought :flower3:

We bring all our extra candy to my daughters orthodontist- he buys it for 1.00 a pound! She usualy makes herself 10.00 selling all the candy she trick or treated for and doesn't want (the gummy stuff and cheap candy) and all our leftover candy we didn't give out!

Brought it to the office on Monday. Unfortunately, this group doesn't eat fast enough for me. My old job the candy was usually gone before noon. It's Wednesday and it's still around. :scared1:

I keep telling everyone to eat it because I want to lose 5 pounds before my Disney trip in 3 weeks. :sad2:

I don't understand the concept of "leftover" candy. Leftovers are food that isn't eaten, candy just doesn't fall into that category :lmao::lmao::lmao:

I meant to go thru ours and pull some out to bring to my office but I had a migraine last night so I didn't. I'm planning to do it tonight instead. :) We have a lot of candy.....LOL I'll make a couple of bundles, one for DBF to take in and one for me. :)

Halloween night after I knew that we were having no more trick or treaters I put all the candy into a bag and put it by the front door so DH could take it to work with him. I didn't want it in the house!! :lmao:

LOL I gave my little guy an all access pass to the candy, instead he wants popcorn or a piece of fruit...go figure. I only eat the chocolate and there wasnt a ton of that so it is almost gone.

I think this weekend it will all disappear with Daddy when he goes to work. I dont mind it in the house, but apparently it is going to waste and just taking up room in the cabinet.

My community has a hands-on children's museum which accepts leftover Halloween candy. They use it to make gingerbread houses at Christmas time. Donating the candy gets it out of the house and out of the office.

A friend of mine suggested to hide them away and put them in the Christmas stockings. It would be very difficult for me to hide them away though. :rotfl2:
