Has anyone ever had extra/left over counter service credits?? If so what different ideas do you have to use them up before the end of your trip???? correct me if i'm wrong but couldnt you go to a counter service location and get a prepacked meal and desert (like a cold sandwhich or salad.. etc) and then just take it with you back to your resort? just wondering if anyone has had this happen. Thanks for any advice..

We have used the DDP twice and we have had leftover CS both times. We were allowed to trade them in 1 CS for three snacks at our hotel. We stayed at the WL both times and this seems to be a common practice there.

I hope that this is in all of the resorts because when I go in 2009, I booked two extra table service.

It would be great if I can cash in the CS for some snacks to bring home and enjoy Disney from home!!!

you can book extra TS? i thought you were only allowed to book as many as the number of nights you will be staying.

Since it was hot in Sept. when we went on free dining, we were often not eating large meals mid day, or just splitting a CS plate between the two of us.

We had several extra CS credits left on our last day, and a late flight home so we went to Epcot and used them around the World, often getting one counter service and splitting it for a taste of that country, then on to the next one an hour or so later.

We managed UK, Germany, and China, then used the final 2 CS credits for to go sandwiches at Norway. They have sandwiches at the France bakery too, but Norway had those plastic boxes for them so they didn't get crushed. We saved those Norway sandwiches for the trip home, and just ate the school bread dessert on our last stop! We took the desert at from UK (shortbread) and Germany (pretzel) to munch at the airport, and saved the Norway sandwiches for the flight.

We used some of the extras at Main Street bakery for two (sometimes three) baked goods and a smoothie. My husband enjoyed them for breakfast when we got home. A sweet reminder of WDW!

We often go to the Earl of Sandwich and pick up lunch. With the drink, we just get the drink (no ice). Have ice from the motel. We start driving home, stop at a rest stop and have a little picnic. You could also pick up a salad to go. If catching a plane, Earl's is much better than the airline's "food".

Other places have food to go, just ask at your food court.

Have fun.

I go to Earl of Sandwich and get a couple of sandwiches to take on the plane with us.

We had 11 Cs meals left and 6 snack credits the morning we left. We went to Boardwalk Bakery and used a couple of CS breakfast credits there ( 2 pastries, 2 drinks and a piece of fruit) as well as some snack credits (the cinamonn coffee cake loaf is HUGE) We then used the remaining credits at Earl of Sandwhich and put them in the cooler. We had breakfast and lunch for the two days it took to get home and since we had a big meal before we left, we didn't spend anything on food on the way home!

We used ours for the great sandwiches at Roaring Forks, then ate them at the airport while waiting to go home.

We usually plan to not have any remaining CS left at the end by doing some breakfasts CS meals along the way.
