UGH...these are the only jeans I have worn for YEARS because they fit so well and the price couldn't be beat. They were a relaxed fit that sit just below the natural waist, no big gap at the back waistband, plenty of room in the seat and thighs. Not any more! Lee has "updated" them and they are horrible! They now sit lower and no longer are as roomy in the seat and thighs. I thought I must have gained weight, but checked and that wasn't the problem. They even changed the fabric and now they look and feel cheap. The only thing the same about them and my old ones are the identical numbers on the tag, which they should have changed that too since they are nowhere near the same jeans. So...anybody have any relaxed fit jeans they really like?

In my opinion the only thing worse than jean shopping is swimsuit shopping. If I happen to find some jeans again I like, I'm buying 6 pairs so I dont have to do this again for a long, long time. First I have to take back the 4 pairs that I ordered from Walmart. :(

I thought I was the only one that don't fit into the rider jeans anymore. I loved the fit of the old ones. I was excited to see all of the color capris that they now make until I tried on the new ones. I probably need 2more sizes up than the size I used to wear. Very depressing.

Very depressing is right!!! I did go ahead and order ONE size up this morning to see how they are going to fit. Hate that I have to order them since our Walmart doesn't even carry them in the store. TONS of reviews complaining about the "updated styling" online, so hopefully they will go back to what everyone liked before. In this case change is definitely NOT good. >:(

Try NYDJ. They are not inexpensive but ever several months they will be on Amazon's Deal of the Day. They are the only brand that I can wear comfortably and consistently.

I second this. They are pricy but so worth it. White House Black Market changed their curvy fit and I was sick of the low rise. I got some at 6pm.com for $49. I wasn't sure about not drying them, but I've had no issues line drying them and I think they'll last a lot longer.

I don't understand how anyone can buy jeans or shoes online. I have literally come out of the store with 3 pairs of jeans marked 3 different sizes that all fit the same.

If you have some good thrifts near you, try those. You might be able to find the jeans you want. I fell in love with Old Navy's Sweatheart line. Fit like a dream. Of course, they stopped making them. I've been able, through dedicated searching, to stock up on the size and cut of this jean at the thrift store.

It is only the NYDJ that I can do this with....pants are hard! But all their styles are measured the same in the body part. I have different denim styles, a lot of linen shorts and pants...all fit correctly straight out of the box. Any other brands could be completely different between styles.

I've had trouble finding jeans that aren't super thin fabric any more. That's great for summer, but I looked & looked for thicker denim last fall and winter without luck. DH said try Wranglers. His felt like good quality denim. But the ladies were thin like all other brands.

been there! try going to found some great jeans by Gloria Vanderbilt. they are the Amanda style. they cary them at kohl's for 30 bucks (give or take) oorrrr you can get them at Costco for around 16. they fit nicely . also kohls carries lots of types of jeans so you can try a variety of them

I second the Gloria Vanderbilt, Amanda style, this is all that I wear!

Maurice's has bogo 50% off sales on their basic jeans often. You get two pairs for about $50.

This. They have several different styles and the clerks will help you find just the right fit. I've found them to be pretty consistent when it comes to size. The darker ones are a smidge tighter than the lighter ones but I've found that to be true for most brands. They're all I wear.

We don't have a Maurice's here where I live, but it looks like there might be one about an hour away. Also lots of people talk about the NYDJ jeans and we don't have a store around here that would sell those either. :( We do have a Kohl's, so I will have to go look for the Gloria Vanderbilt, Amanda jeans. Thanks everyone for your suggestions!!! :flower1:

When they were first recommended to me the only store was 30-40 mins away as well. With the cut being consistent I was able to order them online afterwards. I now have one less than a mile and half away, which is dangerous, lol. Anyway, it may be worth the drive for you. Their customer service is top notch. I wore the Amanda jeans for a very long time. If you get them in different colors make sure you try each color on as I found they didn't all fit the same.

Say it isn't so! These are what I wear about 90% of the time. I haven't bought any in about 2 years, and if they changed them, I'm not going to be happy about it.

Well I am honestly not sure how those fit but I recently converted to Denizen jeans from my old, more expensive brand as they discontinued my fit too :(. Target carries them so if they have a special of $15 off $50 clothing online you can pick up a few (they are in stores too so you can try on first) as they sell for about $28 each at full price. I even got one wash on clearance for $17.99 with discount code and another for just $14.99( although it was a different cut and I had to send it back but still they had discounts recently on a few styles when summer ones arrived). They sit below the belly button but in the back make it over my big booty nicely with no gap or whale tail ever, which is what makes a winner for me, and the pockets don't make my booty look funny. They do have stretch in them but its a nice feel, not too thick, not too thin.

What I actually can't find is decent denim capris. The denizen ones are cuffed and SEWN in place like that, so not office appropriate. My last round are worn out and I can't find any other brands that I like or fit well. For a woman having your jeans discontinued is as tragic as having your favorite bra discontinued. You will find others but they are never the same....

I like these jeans too, but it has absolutely been my experience that the different fabrics and colors can be cut differently, so I have to try them on. Even the same fabric can sometimes not be consistent.

OMG you made me laugh!!!! They make it over your big booty nicely LOL!! My problem unfortunately is in the thigh area. I hate when pants are plastered to my thighs. I will definitely check out the Denizen ones at Target. We have the most pathetic Target in the country I think, but hopefully they will have these jeans. Thank you for the suggestion. :)

I'm afraid it's so. I even went ahead and ordered the next size up from what I always wore but those are too big around the waist even though they fit better in the seat and thighs. They still sit lower which I HATE in jeans. Sit down and your practically giving the "plumbers view" :crazy2: Back to Walmart they go.
