LeCellier warning about ADRs!

I called last week and got them for the third week of March at 12:50 with no problem. Lunch must be easier than Dinner.

I booked yesterday for a party of 6, June 13th and the only time left was 8:50.

I just booked June 13th for a party of 9 and was given 6:20. We'll be at 3 tables, but at least we're in! :)

I thought about booking for only 4 and making 2 of the kids eat pizza at the villa so we could get an earlier time :lmao: but we will be there for another 6 days and I would probably have to hear about it every day so in the end it just wouldn't be worth it. ;)

One of the problems between folks booking for ADRs soon vs ADRs for this summer is the fact that starting April 1 DVC members will be able to add the DDP to their reservations. As a DVC member I have received lots of information about the DDP and reminders of this new perk. This new perk will make it much harder to get ADRs starting April. I booked my LeCellier ADRs in January for my May trip and had to choose 3 different days to find a time that wasn't after 8:30PM for a table for 6. I also booked 2 different nights for a table for 2 and had no problem. Maybe this is why they recently changed the timing from 90 to 180 days.

After reading the posts on this, I realize why it would be hard to seat a party more than 4 since they would have to push two tables together. I did try and get a reservation for 5 with no luck, however, I can get a reservation for 4. My question is: There technically are 5 of us, but one is a baby, should I go for the reservation for 4 just to get in, can't they put a highchair on the end of the table for 4 without pushing two tables together? Just checking, we would really like to try this place out!

I book Le Ceiller (and a couple of other places) for our group of 15. Of course we took the 5pm time but then again with a big group I expected it (earlier time). I was told that they might have to split our group with was fine.

Just a suggestion, have you tried booking a table for 6, sometimes that will make a difference.

Did you tell them you are a party of 4 adults and a baby (requiring a high chair)? Some restaurants would be ok with using a 4-top in that situation. Although Le Cellier is really tight and I doubt the fire marshall would go along with it.

I just (meaning today) booked us for 5/12 and had quite a few options. Then again it's not peak season and there's only 2 of us.
