This is the restaurant at Canada in the World Showcase at Epcot, correct? Has anyone eaten there recently? How was it?

We, enjoy our visit to this restaurant ...I like to get my fix of cheddar cheese soup and pretzel bread. I usually get the prime rib ...so does my husband.
Our friends have had the chicken dish and the salmon and all have enjoyed their meals.

This is one of our musts each trip. We love the Cheddar cheese soup, pretzel bread, mushroom filet with risotto and maple cream brulee for dessert.

We ate there last week. It was great. DH and I had the filet with mushroom rissoto. My sister had the NY Strip (I think...it was steak anyway and not the filet or the prime rib). My oldest DD had the chicken and subed for cream cheese mashed potatos. My youngest DD and nephew had a kid meal....can't even remember what.
It is quickly becoming a favorite place to eat for us.

I was there in Nov. My husband and I had the filet. It was very good and melted in your mouth. I wasn't crazy about the risotto (the flavor and salty) but my husband loved it. The maple creme brulee was fantastic (but I am a dessert lover and would have had that as my meal).
It is a great restaurant and has a romantic atmosphere for dining without children.

We usually have lunch ther but in Dec we did dinner. I had the veal T-bone. It was great, but I think I like the NY strip I've had for lunch better. For me the highlight is always the chocolate whiskey cake for dessert. And the cheese soup with pretzel bread for dipping is almost sinful.

That used to be my dh's favorite resturant until they took "herb crusted prime rib" off the menu and replaced it with salt crusted prime rib. After our dinner there in feb of 2009 he said we wouldn't me coming back.

We ate there earlier this month. We used to love the Maple BBQ Glazed Filet, but it's not offered any more; just the mushroom. While that filet was indeed very tender, the winner that night was the NY Strip ... DEE-LISH!

After reading from others about it for years we went last Oct and it was just OK. I am not a picky eater but I did not like the cheese soup at all. The prime rib was good. We drive, so for steak we go off-site to the Longhorn and eat prime rib.

I don't agree with all the hype this place gets. The food is alright, but it isn't anything special. I will be going back in May, but if I didn't get an ADR for it I wouldn't have lost any sleep over it.

I don't see many people talk about the Coffee Rubbed Kansas City Strip Steak. It's very, very good.

The musrhoom filet is also very good. As is the pretzen bread and beer cheese soup.

One of our must-eat places each trip.

We had a very good meal there in Dec. Our waiter was FANTASTIC--best of the trip! Funny, entertaining and attentive without being obnoxious and intrusive.

My two sons had Prime Rib and loved it. DH and I had the mushroom filets w/risotto. It was a bit on the salty side, but overall very good!

Beer cheese soup was a bit different than we remember, but again--very good! Pretzel bread...yummy!

We definitely plan on going back next trip!

We went in Dec. Got the filet with mushroom risotto. The risotto was not good this trip Not creamy enough and sticky, but the filet was very good. We love the cheddar cheese soup, but get the cup. The soup is way, way too rich for a bowl in my opinion.

Just a note, when we were there in September, we mentioned the maple glazed Filet, and the server basically said, just because it is not on the menu doesn't mean you can't request it. He then proceded to ask if I would like one.
I decided to try the coffee rubbed strip steak instead, and was not dissapointed.

We ate there last may for dinner and it was fantastic! My friend had the salmon, I had the prime rib and my other friend who is a picky eater ordered 2 dishes from the side menu (which was a big menu) and they were huge! she enjoed her macoroni and cheese and mashed potatos! You will love it!

We went there last trip more because it is so insanely popular and gets such high praise, partially for being a 1 TS restaurant. I was pleasantly surprise how good it was! While I thought the steak I had (Kansas City Strip) was quite good but not amazing, but everything else, from appetizers, beer cheese soup, the pretzel bread, the yukon gold au gratin potatoes and desserts were all top notch! DW had the filet, and that was melt-in-your-mouth good. Some say it is overrated, but to us it was one of the best meals we've ever had at Disney, and plan on going back should we be able to get a Table. (I Loved the smores desert.)

BTW, our waitress was excellent...we had a long talk about Hockey and the winter Olymipics (she was from Vancouver). Hint with any Canadian - if you want to start a conversation, mention Hockey, they'll talk for hours.

P.S. To the PP that said they'd just as well go off-site to Longhorn...BLECH! If you are satisfied with their steak, then I wouldn't bother with Le Cellier either.
