We are just under our 180 days to book restaurants on our dining plan and I tried this morning to book LeCellier at Epcot and of course it is sold out. Me and my wife had our heart set on eating there. Anything else we can do besides check for a cancellation every day? All our other reservations were fine at other restaurants but really wanted to go here. I knew this was popular but this is crazy. On a Tuesday night, no less.

Make sure you subscribe to an ADR cacellation thread here on the boards for the month you are going. I am subscribed to the August thread and the September thread. People will post there if they are cancelling specific reservations and you can coordinate with them so when they cancel you can be logged in to snag the reservation. I was able to get LeCellier this way last week for our trip in August. Good luck!!!

Just keep checking cancellations, and if nothing keep calling disney dining when you get to disney. If all else fails and you are in Epcot that day, check at the restaurant when they open for the day and see if they have anything for a walk up ( not likely, but not at all impossible either)

Check every day. If you keep trying, hopefully something will open up. But, pick a back-up and go ahead and make a reservation (just in case). Are there any other places that sound good to you?

Another suggestion...

Are you willing to switch around your days? You could try for every day of your stay, then if you get a day you could move the other restaurant to your Tuesday.

ALSO - are you trying for both lunch and dinner? They serve a very similar menu, and we really enjoy having lunch there. We still get our fillet and creme brulee. :cloud9:

We are not getting the park hopper option so we planned on going to Epcot that particular day. They also had extra hours this day, so we coordinated everything around that at each park. LeCellier was sold out every night that week also. I will keep trying. Coral Reef was also sold out. Thanks

Since you're not getting park hoppers, have you considered a resort restaurant? Kona is pretty good. I'd also recommend Teppan Edo or Tutto Italia. Those are two of our favorites. Good Luck! :goodvibes

For now, book something else - anything else - so that you have an ADR for that night if you need it. Then...

1. Be willing to swap days if you can. If you're going to eat at another Epcot restaurant that week and already have ADRs, be flexible and see if you can swap that restaurant for an ADR at Le Cellier.

2. Check every single day - sometimes 2 or 3 times/day - I'm almost certain something will show up.

3. If all else fails, try walk-up.

BTW - as a side-note, I've been enjoying "playing with" the reservations page to see what I might be able to get even at least minute. More than a few times, I've seen Le Cellier show up for next day or same day ADRs. So, keep that in mind. I'm willing to bet you'll still get an ADR.

Sounds good. How do go about doing this?

We too hoped to score a dinner reservation for that week. Today was my 180day mark. I was up bright and early this morning 4 am ct:eek: I was not able to get dinner any night that week but did score a lunch on Thursday. So I will take that for now and see if something else opens up.

I just reserved the Tutto Italia Ristorante for this day we are at Epcot. I'm assuming this is at the Italy pavilion?

If your heart is set on steak, since you will be at Epcot, you can make a ressie for Yachtsman Steak House over at the YC Resort, it is a very nice and not too long walk from the international gateway to the YC from Epcot.

The Yachtman's steakhouse is only over at the Yacht Club resort. Not far from the International gateway for Epcot. An easy walk or boat ride.

Did you try for a lunch reservation? When I booked my last trip I didn't even try for dinner - got a lunch ADR with no problem. The menu is very similar - has the "famous" mushroom filet and NY strip steak. Good luck!!:goodvibes

It is. The food there is really good. The restaurant is very fancy inside - much nicer than Le Cellier. I'd keep trying, but if you end up eating at Tutto you will still have a very nice meal. :thumbsup2

I ran into the same problem for my trip 5/24-5/31. Le Cellier was booked and I tried for a couple months with no luck. Then two days before we left a 5:45 dinner opened up, so it is possible you will get an ADR!

I just went online and booked lunch for Wednesday and got the time I wanted. Try late lunch. Good luck. I know people change around their ADR's so I would keep trying the week you leave.

I just booked and cancelled 2 Le Cellier reservations last week for next month - there is availability as people cancel, so keep trying.

Good luck, Tiger :)

Lots of suppertimes for LeCEllier just opened up for the first week of Dec. maybe they'll have the day you need. Good Luck!!

How many are on your reservation? A party of 2 can be difficult...only a limited number of 2 tops. But, don't give up!

It is in Italy and is must "do" every trip for us. It's definietely one of our favorites.
