we have been to LeCellier, but really liked it, I want to try something different but little worried the kids(ages 11 and 12 now ordering from adult menu) will be weirded out by the French menu. What do you think? What would be kid friendly?

Which one would you prefer?

There is a Kids menu at Les Chefs..We love it,including our 6 yr old who likes it more than Le Cellier. It has become a must for us each trip

We enjoy lunch at Chefs but not dinner. We like dinner at Le Cellier but not lunch. The menu at Chefs is not weird French. You can get steak, roast chicken, duck, etc.

Honestly the French menu and food is not too out there. It's French food dumbed down a little bit. My friend's kids love it there and they go every single trip.

Just got back from a trip where we ate at both Le Cellier and Les Chefs de France. I'd eaten at Le Cellier before. It was, and continues to be, one of my favorite restaurants at WDW! I know many here think it's overrated, but I've never had a bad steak or poor service.

This was the first time I'd eaten at Les Chefs de France; we had dinner. It was my sister's choice, as we were celebrating her birthday. The food was good. We both enjoyed our entrees very much. We were seated by the window, so it was fun to people watch while we were waiting. And we waited a lot! The only negative thing I have to say about this restaurant is that the service was s-l-o-w! We were there for over 2 hours. Our waiter must have been new to this country, because we seemed to have a communication problem. I ordered the salad, but he brought me the lobster bisque. No problem, as I was kind of wishing I'd ordered the bisque instead. He got my sister's dessert order wrong. He brought us the wrong bill. When we brought it to his attention, he brought us the correct bill, but the total for our wine was still wrong.

My kids are very well behaved and we have taken them to many nice restaurants. However, I was glad they weren't with me and that we were just a party of adults. Dinner was drawn out so long that I think they could've gotten antsy.
