LeCellier lunch or dinner???

The menu is just about the same at lunch as it is at dinner. This restaurant is quite small so if you are looking to be eating here for dinner I would certainly make a ps. If cost is a consideration then I would take advantage of the cheaper prices at lunch and make a late lunch ps.

Actually we've found the menu to be very different.l We like filet, it's not available at lunch. Some of the desserts aren't offered at lunch either.

I'm not saying lunch isn't excellent there, but it's definitely a different menu than dinner.

I guess it depends what you like to eat.

Keep in mind that the portions for both meals are large, so if you aren't a big lunch eater, or have a big breakfast planned, dinner might be a better option.

We had dinner there for the 1st time in May. The food was great! We had a PS and it still took like 45 minutes after our PS time to get seated, though. I'm not sure why it was so crowded and backed up that night. If this is a regular occurance, you might want to try this restaurant for lunch instead. Either way, definitely try it...it was one of my favorite meals of the trip!

We had a similar experience 2 times at lunch. However I don't mind the wait because I love the food. Try it you won't be disappointed.

Also maybe its just me, but I don't get the cheddar cheese soup?
If I'm going to indulge in liquid dairy, than its gonna have to be a chocolate milkshake!:)

Well we'd been attempting to eat at LeCellier for the past year and we finally got to on tuesday! :D At 11:30 we walked in and gave them our name and the girl told us she would have no problem seating us when they opened (for lunch without a PS) so we walked around Canada and watched the 360 movie. After the movie it was pouring, but the restaurant entrance is just about 15 feet from the movie exit so it wasn't too bad :( We were seated right away and our server was so sweet!! She answered all of our questions and was so helpful the whole time. Between the 3 of us we had 3 appetizers-cheddar cheese soup, 2 split entrees-one opened face sirloin sandwich with potatoe salad and one grilled steak burger with french fries , and 3 desserts- one Canadian Club Cake, one strawberry sorbet and a childs chocolate "moose". The soup was ok, the sandwiches were great and the desserts were delicious!! We will definately be going back in the future and trying dinner as well!

MOMTOMOOTOO, I agree with you. I'd heard about the cheddar cheese soup and we all ordered a cup and I don't know if it's something you have to get use to or what but it was just a little strange- tasted good but had a weird consistancy for me.

I've only eaten there for lunch one time. We walked up for lunch on a slow January day and were seated right away. We had the most wonderful steakburgers. :p

I've eaten both lunch and dinner there relatively recently (dinner in Dec. and lunch in May), and I much prefer their lunch menu. The food is wonderful at lunch, and I found it to be less stellar for dinner. I'm a relatively picky eater though, so that might play a part in it. Two thumbs way up for lunch! :)

WE HAD PS FOR LUNCH AND HAD NO WAIT. WE ENJOYED THE BUFFALO RIB EYE AND GOTTA TASTE THE CHOCOLATE MOOSE!

Both are great to me! Often I'll just order a couple of appetizers from Le Cellier as my meal, so it makes no difference to me. Maybe it would depend more if you were looking for more of a steak entree (dinner) or a sandwich (lunch).

:bounce: :bounce: We're visting the mouse in September on the Silver plan--We plan to eat both lunch & dinner!!It's so wonderful!!!!!

They serve the complimentary bread at both :)

The Cheese soup is also on both lunch and dinner menus.

I think both are very different meals. They tend to serve more sanwiches at lunch time and these are great.

I do like dinner at Le Cellier as well but obviously that becomes a little more pricier.

If I had to choose then it would be lunch for me.

I do find that the service differs in this place as does the wait for a table even with a PS, but I like it good enough.
