LeCellier-lunch menu at dinner time

Will LeCellier allow you to order off of the lunch menu at dinner time? There is nothing on the dinner menu that my daughter likes, however this is one restaurant that the rest of the family LOVES. Any thoughts??

Well it does not hurt to ask.. but I would suspect that they would not be able to make the food from the lunch menu as they would have only dinner food available in the kitchen i.e. they prepare for a certain amount at lunch and would most likely not have any left, as they do not serve it, at dinner time.

We had eaten at Le Cellier for lunch and my daughter loved her meal. A few months later we went back but at dinner. My daughter was all excited to order the same thing again and they wouldn't allow it. The waiter even went back and asked for us in the kitchen. This was 2-3 years ago.

We've always ordered from the lunch menu at dinner at some of the other restaurants, but this didn't happen for us at Le Cellier. Again as the other poster pointed out, it doesn't hurt to ask, but just in case, be prepared to pick something else from the menu.

Last week we had dinner at Le Cellier and my daughter had her heart set on ordering a steak burger off the lunch menu but our waiter told us he could not have it made for her! For what it's worth, she order the steak without the mushrooms and asked for A1 sauce!

Hmmm..I was going to say "I dont see why not" ... but now reading the PP about how they were NOT allowed to order lunch during dinner, I guess the answer is no.

At Coral Reef we ordered off the lunch menu during dinner. If it matters, it was only 15 minutes into "dinner".

Most restaurants won't let your order off the lunch menu for dinner because the dinner menus often have higher priced items they want you to order. Many times you can find the same items on menus for cheaper prices at lunch. Cheaper choices are available at lunch to attract more people. It's all about maximizing profit.

This is true, but when we tried, we were told that Le Cellier has a very small kitchen and once the lunch items are put up, they have only the dinner items prepped and can not do any lunch item.
