LeCellier lunch choices

I noticed on the menu for lunch at LeCellier, their is a section entitled "chef's favorites"

You get to choose an appetizer, entree and a dessert for $29.

Can you get this on the DDP? Any know?

The reason I ask is because appetizers have been excluded from the plan. However, this lunch special isn't more expensive than some of the dinner choices.

I don't know the answer to that one, but a quick call to Disney Dining will get you the answer! Is there such a thing as a quick call to Disney Dining these days?

All reports indicate that the fixed menu at Le Cellier is allowed on the basic dining plan, but no substitutions are allowed.

and the choices aren't as awesome as the rest of the menu.....

pretty sure you can't get the filet......don't quote me on this, but the entrees seemed to be like the steak sandwich and such.....so it just depends on if you want the soup over having a higher priced entree....

They also offer the "Chef's Favorites" feature at dinner with different options: prime-rib, salmon, porcini ravioli, and coq au vin. You still get the choice of soup, salad, or sausage with a dessert (creme brulee, moose, or sorbet).

I am not really a steak person. However, I was interested in the cheese soup.

I was thinking of ordering the porcini ravioli.

anyone have it? how was it?

If you get prime rib as the main course, then you get the appetizer. Worked well for me!
