Three adults (20% discount; DDE)
We all had ice teas to drink.
DH and our friend each started with a bowl of the cheddar cheese soup. DH said his was very good. The best part of his meal actually.
Friend ordered:Canadian King Salmon - caramelized onions, roasted Sweet Corn, baby spinach, finished with corn shoots, sweet corn puree, and Maple Butter
I did not hear any complaints, so have to assume hers was good. But maybe she will add her own reply to this thread.
Me: Free Range Chicken "Peas and Carrots" - seared chicken breast with fresh English peas, baby carrots, Yukon potatoes, finished with carrot chicken emulsion
Mine was excellent. I would recommend that. I cannot find fault with my meal. At first I thought it odd as there were SO MANY peas and they were laying on the bottom of the plate in what looked like a watery, pale sauce. But it was actually VERY good and much better tasting than it looked. The carrots and peas were fresh tasting and crisp. The potatoes were very good too. Just right. I really liked my meal. I do not think it could have been prepared better.
DH: 14 oz. New York Strip Steak - roasted garlic, pickled Vidalia onions, frisee, and roasted Yukon potatoes, and finished with veal demi glace
DH said it was okay. He was disappointed in the cut of meat. He thought it was over priced for what it was. The meal included two little chunks of garlic and two little slivers of onion. (And they were very pickled. Not "great".)
He said he was expecting a better meal for WDW and a steakhouse, where this should be their specialty, and gives his an "okay".
The breaksticks were warm, fresh and very good. I only ate the pretzel breadsticks, so can't say how the other types were.
The service was very good too, all the way around.
And I do not think at any time we were there were all the Le Cellier tables filled.
We skipped dessert since we were in the Dis Illuminations Dessert party, which was a great experience.

For sharing your review I enjoyed reading it.
