Three adults (20% discount; DDE)

We all had ice teas to drink.
DH and our friend each started with a bowl of the cheddar cheese soup. DH said his was very good. The best part of his meal actually.

Friend ordered:Canadian King Salmon - caramelized onions, roasted Sweet Corn, baby spinach, finished with corn shoots, sweet corn puree, and Maple Butter
I did not hear any complaints, so have to assume hers was good. But maybe she will add her own reply to this thread. ;)

Me: Free Range Chicken "Peas and Carrots" - seared chicken breast with fresh English peas, baby carrots, Yukon potatoes, finished with carrot chicken emulsion
Mine was excellent. I would recommend that. I cannot find fault with my meal. At first I thought it odd as there were SO MANY peas and they were laying on the bottom of the plate in what looked like a watery, pale sauce. But it was actually VERY good and much better tasting than it looked. The carrots and peas were fresh tasting and crisp. The potatoes were very good too. Just right. I really liked my meal. I do not think it could have been prepared better.

DH: 14 oz. New York Strip Steak - roasted garlic, pickled Vidalia onions, frisee, and roasted Yukon potatoes, and finished with veal demi glace
DH said it was okay. He was disappointed in the cut of meat. He thought it was over priced for what it was. The meal included two little chunks of garlic and two little slivers of onion. (And they were very pickled. Not "great".)
He said he was expecting a better meal for WDW and a steakhouse, where this should be their specialty, and gives his an "okay".

The breaksticks were warm, fresh and very good. I only ate the pretzel breadsticks, so can't say how the other types were.

The service was very good too, all the way around.

And I do not think at any time we were there were all the Le Cellier tables filled.

We skipped dessert since we were in the Dis Illuminations Dessert party, which was a great experience. :)

:goodvibes For sharing your review I enjoyed reading it. :goodvibes

Really enjoyed reading your review ~ Thanx for sharing.

We went in Feb. and we were not as impressed with the quality of food or selection as we had been in the past. It was crowded with the tables very close together. We always had it as a must do, but we are skipping it this July.

We were hesitant to eat there also, but that is where DD/15 wanted to eat June 8. We had not been pleased last time we ate there. I am so glad that we decided to go with her idea!!!!! We started with the cheese soup also! Delicious! And the bread--each was great(pretzel the best). DD had the New York Strip, I had the Filet Mignon and DH had the Ribeye. All were excellent!!!!!!! We left there very pleased with our meal! And with the DDE discount the meal was a great price! Will definitely eat there again!!!!! :wizard:

Ate there 6/8 and we were so very pleased. If I could figure out how to post my pictures, I'd share those too. :)

My DH had the 20oz steak...didn't finish it, big surprise..duh!! LOL I had the lobster and filet. Wonderful! I had the cheese soup and it was good. Not great, but good. The bread was delicious.

The restaurant was actually quiet when we went and not crowded at all. The tables were a reasonable length from each other...we had enough room to park our stroller. (sleeping baby)

The service was great as well. And the desserts...oh boy, I'm getting hungry just thinking about it!

Again, I have pictures if someone can PM me the instructions on how to post them! :)

I really think I need to go here soon! :)

We ate there on the 14 of June for our anniversary, DH had the strip steak and thought it was very good- I snuck a bite and found it tender and very flavorful. I had the mushroom filet and all I can say is YUMMMM!!! I was not sure about the rissoto but one bite and I was hooked....
We received a chocolate moouse for desert from the resturant for our anniversary and a signed card.
