We were looking at the menu for LeCellier at allears.net and the desserts did not look that appealing. Could someone give us some ideas on what they think is good there. Thanks

My dh had the seasonal fruit crumble type dessert, which I think was cherries (Aug.). He really liked it.
Dd and I shared a dessert sampler which included maple creme brulee, raspberry sorbet, and a fudgy/orange flavored type chocolate cake thingee. (LOL) They were all excellent! DD says she will get just sorbet this time, as it was very good.

We really enjoyed our meal there!

I had Creme Brulee for the first time at Le Cellier, let me tell you, I'm hooked now. It was the best dessert of my life. No kidding. The Mouse Moose or whatever it's called looks fun to eat also.

i like the chocolate moose.

My daughter loved the sorbet and my mother and I loved, loved, loved the creme brulee and can't wait to order it this year!!

I had the chocolate whiskey cake and it was awesome-very moist. We'll try the creme brulee on our next visit-it sounds really good. :thumbsup2

Thanks for all the replies. Does the choc. cake have a strong orange flavor. My boys love choc. cake but are not crazy about orange flavor. Can you order the dessert sampler on the DDP? Thanks

The desserts did not appeal to us so we skipped it and went to the bakery in France...but we are not on the dining plan

I keep seeing pictures of the chocolate moose. It is cute, but what is it made of? Taste like?

Thanks!

It's made of chocolate mousse - kind of like chocolate pudding, but much richer and creamier. It's really good, so is the chocolate whiskey cake - tasted just like choc cake to me. It comes with a sauce that you can pour on. DH loves the double-berry buckle.

I usually order dessert from the children's menu. I love the chocolate mousse and the smores (thick graham cracker cookies with chocolate on one side, a scoop of vanilla ice cream, and a couple of marshmellows). Both very yummy!

The maple creme brulee is fantastic, but the size is just too tiny for me.
I also LOVED the Chocolate Whiskey Cake!

The 3 mini cream brulee's were teriffic!!!!! I am soo looking forward to having those again!!:woohoo: :woohoo:
