Leaving Wednesday-Wish me luck!

Am leaving Wednesday morning bright and early to meet my sis and her DH to celebrate the guys' birthdays and enjoy the F&W Festival. Perhaps you're unaware or have forgotten, but I'm the DVC member who, 3 out of 4 trips has been given rooms with leftover food, trash, uncleaned bathrooms and put in smoking rooms ( I'm a medical nonsmoking). So, instead of excitement, I'm feeling trepidation upon what I will 'find' with my upcoming visit. Even my DH, who is oblivious to everything except football scores, has commented on the condition of our previous rooms! Please, everyone-throw some pixie dust our way so that we get a clean room. Our only requests we make on our rooms is a 'quiet' area and non smoking! Maybe I should start requesting things like, no leftover food, no trash, clean towels, etc etc.

Do you have "non-smoking for medical reasons" on your reservation? If not, call Member Services and have them add that to your profile. We have that for our older son so when he's traveling with us, it's automagically there on the reservation.

i have never had a dirty room or anything that you have mention. there was a time there were a couple of pubic hairs that were missed but the room was cleaned they just missed a couple of hairs nothing major

debbiepump - I certainly remember you and your less than clean room assignments. You have a clean room coming to you, I can feel it! If there is any justice in the universe, you will get a lovely, clean room with a nice view and helpful CM's all around and..........a towel animal!

Debbie you definitely deserve a clean room....

but try to remember that it is not housekeeping but the person who was in the room before you. Disney needs to change their policy and not allow the guest back into the room once housekeeping has cleaned it for the next guest.

disney does not change the room key until you arrive.
