We are leaving tomorrow for 4 nights and the weather does not look very good. It is going to be in the 60's for a high and 40's for lows. BRRRRRR......... that seems like it will be very chilly in the evenings walking around. Should we bring our heavy winter coats? I was planning of layering with hoodies but now I am not sure that will be warm enough.
It is miserable to walk around in the cold? Are the indoor rides heated? I have only been there when it was summer and 90-which is killer, but I hate being cold.

TAKE YOUR COATS!! We were there over Christmas and everyone kept commenting that it was extraordinarily cold for FL. It was in the 40's at night and possibly 30's once or twice and it was COLD!!! We were still cold in coats and mittens. It did help keep the crowds away for us however. We had cold and rain. Think I'd opt for cold over the downpours that was Christmas day - that was pretty miserable.

lomillerin, Don't worry. We have been going for the last 3 yrs at the end fo Jan. and the first of Feb. For those cool mornings and evenings you will want to layer and have a hoodie or some type of sweatsuit jacket and long pants. I don't think you will need your heavy winter coats unless you are used to 80-90 weather all year long. The rides indoors are heated as well are the swimming pools. I have always thought it was quite comfortable in the 60-70 weather range. Have a great trip.

When I wrote this I didn'tsee the other reply. I guess that just goes to show you different strokes. Our neighbors also went over Christmas and said it was COLD. I have just never needed a heavy coat in 40-50 weather.

Rain until Monday, then high 60's during the day and high 40's at night, so bring layers and ponchos.

No matter what the weather is like,I'm sure you'll have a wonderful trip.Lucky you, enjoy! princess:

During Christmas week it was in the 60's and 70's. I had on capri's and a light sweatshirt. I saw people in winter coats with hats, scarves and gloves. To each his own. :D

We'll be heading down there tomorrow morning for the week as well. Boy was I bummed when the forecast changed from mid 70s to mid 60s for the week in about an hours time one day last week. Oh well, its better than the low 30s temps they are forecasting here. My suitcase has mostly capris and short sleeved shirts packed in it, with a fleece to wear when it gets chilly. Just looked at the forecast again and they are predicting less and less rain, which is good!
