Leaving tomorrow. Too late to get discount?

We are leaving tomorrow and staying at the WL. We have a AAA discount and havne't been't able to get ap discount or any other. Are there any other discounts that would be better than the AAA for right now? Thanks freemore

The only thing you can try is to call CRO and see if there is an AP discount. It is last minute, but who knows -- you may get one.

Call! You never know what you can get. I got a last-minute AP discount once, booking the room a day before we got there. And if you don't get it on the first call, call again.

I agree with Miffy. I would call TODAY and see if I could get the discount. If that reservationist tells you no, call back. There are hundreds of reservationist so you chance of getting the same one are slim. It never hurts to ask.

I actually got on an AP discount the day I was checking in to BWI. I asked about discounts and the CM pointed me in the direction of a lobby phone. So, it doesn't hurt to try when you get there either.

Generally speaking - yes its probably too late to expect any more of a discount.

You don't say if you're on a package or a room only reservation. In the case of a package, it had to be paid in full 45 days ago.. so probably too late to get a discount there. Any changes to a package at this point would incur a 50$ change fee and so your savings would have to exceed 50$ or more to make it worth your while.

You don't say how many nghts you are staying.

If you are room only, you'd probably have to cancel your existing reservation and make a new to take advantage of any better discount offer.. and so since you are inside the 5 day cancellation rule.. you'd lose your first night deposit... so the savings would have to exceed one night's hotel room cost.

Basically at this point - go enjoy your vacation. Pack lots of sunscreen and have an awesome time!

Canadian Guy, thanks for all the good info, we are a room only and staing 6 nights, I hadn't considered the penalty for making changes, thanks for all of the reminders. We have our sunscreen although my dh had to go to 4 stores to get the kind I wanted yesterday : ) Found it at Walgreens!
