leaving tomorrow! NO place to stay!! Yikers!
I got southwest air tix a while back as I couldn't resist the $49. each way. We have only a couple of full days in FL as that's all we could squeeze in between DH being needed at work and the kids having to miss school.
If I were a real grownup I would have canceled the whole thing when my DD had school testing, but instead I just changed the dates.
I had booked RPR thinking that we could do Universal for a day, then decided that we just need to rest and relax, not do the park thing. So I canceled RPR because we wouldn't need FOL and I didn't want the kids (or us) to be tempted or teased into heading to US IOA.
Then I was thinking that the Ron Jon resort looked nice and was worth the rate but decided against that because of a flight on Wednesday afternoon and I don't want to spend out time driving back and forth.
So what I have is flight tomorrow afternoon to Orlando, I did do a priceline for the first night and got the Renaissance. We have a flight home Wednesday afternoon. I have a rental car as well.
I need 2 nights of a newish upper end casual family friendly hotel, vacation club (or something) with an awesome pool with fountains, zero entry, fun for kids as we have 2 of them, and I don't want to spend more that $150 a night.
help!

I would recommend the Radisson Resort Parkway in Kissimmee. The pool has a waterslide, the landscaping is very nice there, hot tubs, newly refurbished rooms, a new restaurant, and a 50s style diner. Also has a pool bar and sports bar and free transportation to the parks if you decide to go for a day. They usually have decent rates, too.

I would go to www.hotelkingdom.com and plug your dates in. They have a lot available. I noticed the Cypress Point Grand villas is coming up for your dates and I've heard good things about that. Good luck :sunny: !

why don't you stay at coronado or port orleans? are they booked?
you wouldn't have to do the parks you could shop at dd, do chef mickey's and then just relax at the pools or rent water mice or whatever. i guess it's too tempting not to go to mk.

How about the Marriott Village at Lake Buena Vista? They have a Fairfield, Springhill (?) and Courtyard. I'm not sure about zero access pool, but everything I have seen about it looked nice. We checked it out quite heavily but got a great rate at Swan so back to my home-sweet-home.

Now you will see why i am in this fix...
I thought about a moderate disney resort but I am disneyed out (don't hit me! :teeth: ) plus the rooms aren't awesome for the price.
I looked at hotel kingdom yesterday and just freaked out with overwhelmingness.
The radisson resort parkway looks nice, thanks disney crazed, i will check the price and I will look into Marriott Village but have not heard of that before.
 :sunny:

Try site59.com. They do last minute getaways very cheap and you can select your hotel. Luxurylink.com also does super rates for nice hotels & resorts last minute. Why don't you try calling some of the Dis hotels direct and see what response you get? You may get a great rate. Travelocity also offers disney hotels now. Some of the Orlando web sites have great rates listed.
Good Luck:sunny:

Oops, didn't see your post about not wanting disney! I'd try the first two sites...

frantic searching last nite and a lot of marriott looking (Thanks!) led me to Horizons..booked a 2 bedroom for $157. Looks like it has a water park or a least a fun pool. Hope it is good!
