my daughter and I are off early tomorrow morning for our unexpected 6 days at WDW (the short fun part of our scheduled 5 weeks in the US).....
i just noticed there's a hurricane off the east coast...i wonder if that increases the amount of turbulence as we cross the atlantic....i hope not....
as it was, our trip a month ago was affected by weather both on the long leg and on the flight down from JFK to Orlando....both pilots had to take rather circuitous routes to avoid nasty weather .....and the landing in Orlando exactly when the hurricane was off the coast of Tampa, was followed by cheering from the passengers along with a very loud "thank you lord" and numerous "amens".....
i'm just hoping for nice smooth flights....especially the 12 hour non-stop first leg....and this time we're leaving in the morning instead of midnight....good thing i don't wear a watch...that way i can't look at it every 5 minutes to see how much time has passed......
in any case, happy planning everyone.....we're off to the WL....no plans this time (except for the meeting on friday that's taking us there)....
we'll just play it by ear this time (but still avoid EMH days, like we did last month)....
i hope we can find someone to go on the ToT with her....that's her favorite WDW attraction, and since i can't go on it anymore, and since it's just the two of us this time (DH and DS staying back home), she won't have anyone to go on with her......and it's really not all that fun to go on things alone....
too bad there's no line for single riders who are too afraid to ride alone....
