Hey gang. HOws the local ER/urgent care? I think I have an infected cut and I am dreading the idea of needing to see someone down there for a perscription (Although Im hoping my Dr calls back soon). I just know every tourist who needs to see someone is headed to the same place....urggg.

I'm sorry I dont know, just wanted to say I hope you feel better and have a magical trip!!!!

Few years back my then 3 year old came down with an ear ache. We didn't stay on site that year, but when things seemed to get especially bad at Magic Kingdom one day, we took her to the first aid station. They couldn't help her there, but called a service to take us to an urgent care, then a pharmacy, and then back to Magic Kingdom.

Excellent care. I think in all it took about 2-hours. Best of all we didn't have to worry about getting lost, everything was covered by our standard insurance, and we got a backstage tour of the parade on our way out.

If you haven't left yet - the 'newsletter' you get when you check in has information about medical issues / prescriptions, etc. You can also go to a first aid station & they can arrange your transportation to a care facility.

Have a great trip.
