Hello All - leaving tomorrow for our first trip back to WDW in 12 years! It will just be my husband and I and this is our "empty nest" trip as we have been calling it. I didn't want to plan every second, especially ADRs. We are hoping to eat when and according to how we feel, and hoping to get seating by eating/drinking in the bar/lounge area of restaurants or using the app and deciding day of what we want to do. We will do breakfast by grabbing something on the Boardwalk or something quick in parks.

Sunday October 23 - should be arriving by town car to the Boardwalk Villas around 10:30am if everything goes smoothly. We would like to have a drink and a snack around 11am-12pm, maybe the pool bar or the margarita stand on the Boardwalk.
Bus to MK- FP for PP, Pirates, and Little Mermaid
Parade maybe? Time? Try to get 4th FP for HS or Epcot - not sure help!
Back to Boardwalk, check in, rest.
My original plan was to go to Fantasmic this night. Now I'm thinking maybe eat at the Food and Wine and watch Illuminations. Whichever one we don't do tonight we will do Tuesday night.

Monday October 24 - Epcot - we plan to be at the international gate way at 8:45. We have FP for Soarin, SE, and LWTL. So go to TT at rope drop I think? This is more important to us than FEA, although we would like to do this attraction at some point, but I am doubtful. Try to score a 4th FP for HS before the dessert Party this night.
11am - F&W at Epcot!
Return to the room at some point for rest or pool or whatever.
Head over to HS - maybe do some rides if possible. Would like to do RRRC as it closes later in the week. Dessert Party at 6:45

Tuesday October 25 - MK BOG PPO. Arrive by taxi/uber by 7:45. (What time to leave BW)
Do the Mine Train ride if possible. FP for SM, Splash, and HM. Ride whatever else. Book more FP here or for Epcot or HS.
Back to BW for rest/pool
This is an Epcot EMH nighttime. Original plan was to go here for more F&W and Illuminations. Now I'm thinking how late can we really stay up since this is such an early morning for us. However the only other night to see Illuminations (a must do) would be Our arrival day, when we get up for a 6:30am flight. So I'm conflicted. If not Illuminations, then to HS for Fantasmic (a must do). Any advice would be appreciated.

Wednesday October 26 - bus to HS at gate at 8:45. FP for TSM, ST, and TOT. Maybe rope drop RRRC if we didn't do before. Ride whatever. Not sure how long we will be here so lunch dinner this day is up in the air. Make 4th FP for MK
Maybe head to Disney Springs. Or break at BW. No clue about food on this day.
EMH at MK - ride whatever we haven't got to yet and maybe catch Wishes. We are doing a fireworks cruise the next night for Wishes. I would like to cancel and do something more fun like head to a trader Sams. Hubby wants the cruise, but i may be able to talk him out of it. If I can then definitely watch Wishes tonight.

Thursday October 27 - Bus to AK be at gate at 8:45. FP EE, Safari, and PW (yes this used to be Dinosaur).
Y&Y adr at 12:30. Catch FOTLK
Back to BW or maybe Disney Springs. Park later? Don't know!
Fireworks cruise at 9:15 - not sure what time to be there or where to be. Not sure we will even keep this cruise. I would rather do like a monorail pub crawl or just relax and eat some good food.

Friday October 28 - departure day. We are being picked up at BW at 6pm. We have the whole day open. No plans or FP because I need to add a day on our hoppers when we get there. Any thoughts greatly appreciated!!

Did I not plan enough? Too much? Not enough ADRs? We really what to take advantage of the F&W and not have every second accounted for. Appreciate any input! Can't wait to be in the World!

Welcome back to the world...:teeth: Seems fine to me, although the arriving day, it appears you'll be running around a bit, from p2p. I'd skip the 3rd park and instead stroll around the BW or so.....Or skip HS after MK.
EPCOT for us doesn't usually require ADR's, for we also like to Eat around the world. MK we used to traditionally do Ohana as our arrival day dinner, but we changed it up this year.

Your FP+ seem pretty good as well....With no kids in tow, you should have no problem managing your plans.
Either way have a great trip:thumbsup2

10/23 - I wouldn't do FWF on a weekend. Hit it during the week.

10/24 - Hitting TT at rope drop is a good idea.

10/25 - Ask the Uber to take you to Bay Lake Towers or the Contemporary. Then walk to MK from there. I don't think they can drive directly to MK. I'd get the Uber around 7am just to be safe. Do FWF this night.

10/28 - You could just do Disney Springs this day and take it easy or go to a resort for lunch.

You shouldn't have a problem getting ADRs on the fly. Lots of people cancel 24hrs in advance.

Have fun!

Thanks - we are not doing three parks on Sunday, just trying to decide between HS and Epcot. So two parks in all. And yes! Can't wait to eat in Epcot! Thanks so much for your thoughts.

Thanks for your thoughts. I think You are right about Epcot on Sunday. We will go with HS.
Is it obvious if we are dropped off at the Contemporary where the walkway is? How long is the walk?

The walkway is easy to find. There are signs posted. Just start walking toward MK and you should find it.

Bay Lake Towers is closer to MK by just a little bit. The walk from there is approximately 5-7min.
