My boyfriend and I are leaving tomorrow for Walt Disney World! It's my like 100th times but its his first. Anyone have any "Must Do's" that I should show him? :yay:

What a loaded question with so much to do. One thing you might think of doing - take him to the top of the Contemporary. You can go to the lounge and have a drink whether you are dining there or not. What a great view!

Off the top of my head, I'm thinking that he needs to see the MK Welcome Show, just to set the mood. I don't care how old you are, or how cool you are, that show is corny, adorable and classic Disney magic! :thumbsup2

Dinner at the Cali Grill, during Wishes.pixiedust:

HM during very late EMH.:scared1:

A Dole Whip or a Dole Whip Float.

Soarin' for sure.:woohoo:

Off Kilter at Canada! Preferably the last set of the night.:drinking1:rockband:

A leisurely walk around World Showcase after Illuminations.:cloud9:

A photo with Mickey and a photo with Cinderella, just because!::MickeyMo

A meal at 50's Prime Time with a nutty server, don't tell him what's coming. :ssst:

An encounter with DeVine at AK. :flower3:

I think you should take him on all of the classics in the Magic Kingdom, Pirates of the Carribean, Space Mountain, Jungle Cruise, Big Thunder Moutain Railroad, and Haunted Mansion to name a few. Those are still my favortites and why Disney is so special.

All I can say is: See and enjoy it all and don't rush but drink it in slowly. The welcome at the MK can set the tone and then take some time once you enter to just drink in the sight and smell of Main Street.....it will imprint on your memory forever...that first sight up at the castle, that first bag of popcorn.........the different sounds you heard upon entering each land all make memories. Take the time to ride the horse drawn trolley up Main Street, have a cinnabun from the Main Street Bakery, grab a pickle from the vendors at Libery Square, enjoy a relaxing ride on the Riverboat and just take a seat and thank each other that you can share the love and magic of WDW together...it's what dreams are made of....

Be sure to show him some 'insider' stuff or things that the regular or first-time visitor probably doesn't know about. So show him a hidden mickey, lift up the phone in the hat shop, sample the sodas at club cool (I have heard from way too many people that they thought it was only for sale items in there, not free samples!), Cinderella's wishing well and rose garden, etc.

Of course, do all the ride classics, enjoy the unique food, and see the great shows. As someone who has been there before though, you can give him some 'insider' info!

Oh, silly me! Of course you have to pull the Beverly trick on him!
