Leaving this week - what do I need to know?

I think this will be my 11th trip to WDW, but this trip is a little different. First of all, I'm not traveling with family but with seven high school students. I am their sole chaperone for the trip. They're all really good kids, but five of the seven have never flown before and are super anxious about it. One of them has also never been to WDW. The others have been before, but only two have been multiple times. Second, we're staying at the Dolphin. I've never stayed at the Swan or Dolphin, but I have an understanding of the different amenities because of it not being a Disney hotel. Third, this is the first time for me since the implementation of the Fastpass+ system using the advance booking. The last time I was at WDW, the new system had just started and only onsite guests could book in advance. We were staying offsite, so we had to use the kiosks. I've got our Fastpasses booked for our three park days, so I think we're good on that.

Basically, I'm just looking for any advice or anything I may have forgotten about. Taking this many kids that aren't my own has me second guessing myself.

Bless you -- you're a brave woman. A few things I would do...

1. Get every teen's phone number == maybe set up a group text to communicate with everyone at the same time
2. Medical cards?
3. Permission slips?
4. Allergy data?
5. Group packing discussion (everyone has bare minimums)
6. Rules of Engagement
7. Buddy system -- nobody alone, at any time outside their hotel room

I've already covered all of these issues with them. I've taken kids to Washington DC and San Francisco for this same convention, so safety wise, being within the confines of Disney property is a little less worrisome. ☺
