We have been to Disney six times before and I have never been this excited to go!! We have always stayed offsite. This year we are staying at Fort wilderness in our camper!! We are so excited. DD14,DS11,DS9,DD5 We did not do the Disney Dining Plan because will be there 2 weeks. We have 10 days in the park,13 nights at the campground. I figured we could eat in the parks one meal and back at the camper the other. We usually eat the whole day in parks, but its normally feb.. I figured the DD5 and DS 9 could use a break as we will be there June 25-July 8. Will this be a hassle? We have scheduled Crystal Palace-lunch, Mickeys Backyard BBQ, 50's Primetime Cafe-lunch, and Chef Mickey Dinner. We were also thinking of doing a Lilo and Stitch Breakfast and the BB boutique for DD5. I think she would love it.

Oh one more question: We have 2 rest days. Being Crazy For Disney as we are!!! Could we add on to the 10 day passes or would we need to buy a one day pass if we decide we cannot stay away from the parks?

I Love the Dis boards!! Thanks for all of the help

If you plan on taking a break as well as eating lunch than it would be worth it to leave have lunch and take a break. If your only reason for leaving the park and going to the campground is to eat than you are going to waste a lot of time in transit, especially if you don't have a golf cart. Assuming you don't have a golf cart, you would have to allow at least 1/2 hour to just to get to the campground. Then depending on which loop you are in you will probably have to wait for and catch and internal bus back to you loop, which at times the wait for the correct bus can be a good 10-15 min. Than when you leave you will have to reverse the process. When we went in Dec. with DS3,and DS5 we did go back most days for lunch and a nap. But on the days the boys didn't need a nap, we ate lunch in the parks because it was too much of a hassle for all of us to go back to the campground.

We spent much of our trip last year "resting" at FW. :rolleyes1 We had a cabin and DD5 and my mother both needed a break around lunch. Only problem was that I couldn't get them back to the parks until 6 at the earliest on these days. :hourglass I was going bonkers trying to get everybody back into action! Luckily we rented a car so the commute wasn't too bad but is pretty challenging using the bus/boat FW transportation system. I'm toying with the idea of trying to build in slower mornings this time rather than midday breaks. :confused3
