Leaving the park

The schedule changed for the one day we will be at MK pre cruise. The park is now open until 10 PM (was 8).

My question for those experienced park goers out there. Since the park is now open until 10, will the lines for the bus back to AofA be less if we leave after the 8 PM fireworks show? Just trying to prepare for any waiting we might have since we have a few little ones in our group of 18. I am hoping that a lot of people will stay until 10 and it won't be as crowded.

MANY people will do what you're doing and leave after the fireworks. Expect lines.

Agree w/ PP. Most people will leave at 8:30. For minimal wait, either leave before the show, or wait a while after; i.e. 9-10p.

Most people leave after the fireworks. The attraction lines will be the shortest of the day from then until close if you're interested in any rerides with very little wait time.

How old are your kids? They might enjoy sticking around for awhile and hitting a few of their favorite attractions again. When my daughter was 3, her favorite ride was Space Mountain and she insisted on riding it over and over and over again until they shut the door at midnight.
