Leaving Thanksgiving night NJ to WDW?

Anybody ever done this? We are hoping to avoid alot of traffic by leaving around 5:00pm Thanksgiving day and driving straight through. How's the traffic this time of year? By the way we plan on taking 95 all the way.
Any tips or advice? This is our first trip to WDW so any info would be great.

Hi,we did this about 5 years ago and it was our BEST drive down experience! No traffic, mostly truckers on the road. And we drove straight through from RI to WDW and it was our BEST time 21 hours. We left home sometime between 6and7pm( this gave my DH a chance to nap while I packed the car after dinner with his family.This was also with our 3 children so we did make quite a few stops! I would definitely reccommend this night as a great night to travel! Joan

i found the i-95 exit information guide - extremely helpful on our last trip to disney

it lists every exit - what hotels- restaurants - gas stations etc are at each exit-

i will never travel down 95 again without it
