....$$$$$$

:)

Do you have extra camera battery and/or charger?
hand sanitizer?
sun screen (it's been warming up a bit here)

Have a great trip!

Confirm any PS, don't forget to bring the rest of your party, and have a blast:goodvibes:thumbsup2

Coming from the Eastern Time Zone....& staying GCH.

Be aware that:

- You'll be up EARLY the first couple of days (this is a good thing).
- Get to the security tent 35-40 min. prior to opening (or MM opening).
- You'll be at /near the front of the turnstiles. HAVE A PLAN those first two mornings. (heck every morning :)).
- PLAN on taking a mid day break with your fantastic GCH location. (make Griz Rapids your last ride prior to the break most days & Splash the last ride prior to your break on other days).
- Relax & go with the flow......but only after riding & collecting FPs the first 2 1/2 to 3 hours those first 2-3 days.
- DO MM each day offered. :thumbsup2
- Read all of Hydroguy's tip threads on the plane again.....& then again.
- KNOW how to use FP (read that tip thread 3 times!)
- The Castle is small.....no I mean it's miniature.....it's tiny tiny small. So wait till you get to the HUB to look at it. It's actually quite beautiful & has a cool Mountain off to the right of it. :hippie:
- Ride Toady, Storybookland, Pinocchio & Heimlich's Chew Chew....all are underated DLR exclusive rides.

Have a great time at Walt's Park......say hi to Toady & Heimlich for me. :thumbsup2

:)

Thanks everyone! We're pretty pysched although I'm not sure the kids fully get it yet. DS6 and DD3 haven't been out west before, but they've both got multiple trips to WDW under their belts - this should be a nice change. DH and I were there (DLR) for NAEYC in 2001 so we're not coming in completely blind.

We're planning on using our time change situation to our advantage the first couple of days. Unfortunately the parks don't open very early even with EE - only at 9am (except Sunday it opens at 7). We'll be there ready to go. I figure Sunday will be nuts by early afternoon, but we'll probably be ready to head back to the room. The hours are really kind of disappointing - especially knowing we'll be up before dawn, but what can you do? Only have 1 breakfast (The Plaza) - doesn't even start until 20 min before the park opens, but we're set. May try to sneak in a Goofy's Kitchen, but not committed to it.

I figure between the amount of time we're there and our location, factoring in our kids don't like/care about parades and fireworks/shows...and we're pretty much taking it with a laid back approach. Hoping that is the right mindset!

We're bummed about IASW and Roger Rabbit being down, but again what can you do? Can't wait to show our kids DL's Fantasyland!!!

weather's been running cold and hot around here - may rain tomorrow. you might want to bring water-proof ponchos just in case ( DL's are a bit pricy these days) - good for the Rapids anyway, and for close-up WOC viewing even if it doesn't rain.

Pack layers I'd say just in case...although what a long-time Californian thinks is cold is probably just fine to most of the country....
