It looks like Surf's Up is not available for breakfast on Easter, only dinner.
Should I book Goofy's Kitchen or Storyteller's?
I have not had either for breakfast...only dinner. Honestly, I was not that impressed with GK, but that was 4 years ago.
Thank you in advance for your feedback.

If you are committed to a character meal, then I guess you would pick Goofy's if you want recognizable characters and more food choices or Storyteller's if you want Chip and Dale and lesser known woodland creatures and smaller buffet with better food quality.

Personally, I would pick neither. I would probably go for breakfast at Steakhouse 55 as a first choice or Rainforest Cafe as a second choice. I'm also very fond of the Jazz Kitchen's Sunday brunch, but that doesn't begin until 10 AM and I don't know what your time limitations are.

Thanks for the feedback.
Characters are definitely not a priority...mostly food quality.
It will be just DD and I, and she can be a little shy and does not like to interact with the characters too much. I was just thinking a buffet may be the way to go, but I am not against ordering off of a menu. I was considering S55. If you think the food is that much better, I will certainly consider it (and they have availability still).

To be fair, it's been at least 2 years since we've been to either Storyteller's or Steakhouse for breakfast. Our family preferred Steakhouse. It's definitely the better bang for your buck. The portion sizes were large, and all the food was very tasty.

I think Storytellers has a much better breakfast buffet than Goofy's Kitchen. Or do Steakhouse 55. We did the Easter Brunch at Ralph Brennan's Jazz Kitchen two years ago and loved it! That's in Downtown Disney. We wanted to do the special Gospel Easter Brunch at House of Blues this year but we won't be arriving until Monday now so won't get to. I've heard it's awesome! You go directly to the HOB website to buy tickets for that.
