Hi - my 11 and 13 year old will be traveling with us. I want to go to PI with DH one evening. My kids are used to staying by themselves for a few hours at a time as long as we allhave cellphones. I am wondering if they are too old for the kids Club at Beach Club? Would you be comfortable leaving your 11 & 13 year olds at BC while you went to PI? What are things they could do without leaving BC?
I am sure I will get a feel when I am there but I am trying to plan ahead.

I think 12 years is the oldest that the onsite kids' clubs will accept, and they're pretty rigid about their guidelines.

Here's some info from Deb Wills' site, and she says 12 is the max age, also: http://www.wdwig.com/childfaq.htm

You might want to call Fairy Godmothers or one of the other similar services... you could hire an in-room sitter, or have someone who would escort the kids to dinner or the arcades, or even to a park...
