Leaving in two weeks, help with room request

We will be at the POR and my parents are coming with us.
We would love connecting rooms, how do i go about this.

We have my parents and son in one room
and my husband and I with my daughter in the other room.

SHould I fax them before I go or is it on my reservation enough?

It certainly wouldn't hurt to fax the request. POR Fax - 407-934-5777.

when do i do this? i cant remember what day they assign rooms
is there a way to word a fax?

for example:

Dear Room Controller,

We are arriving at POR on June 1st around 6 pm. This will be our first stay at your resort and my parents are coming with us.
We have two kids and one will be staying in our room and one
with my parents each night. We are hoping to have connecting rooms as my parents may need help with our child if they get
scared.

The resorts are notified 4 days prior to a guest arriving. So if you will be arriving on Friday they will get the word Monday.

Sounds like a reasonable request to me.

and is the room controller the right title to use?

Just wanted to say Hi! I live in the Dallas area too. I will be at WDW 05/31 thru 06/02. I was at WDW for spring break in March. My oldest daughter was there for a cheer competetion and we stayed four extra days. Great to see another Dallas area resident loves WDW as much as I do. Have a great vacation.
